Customer Service Receptionist (Part-Time)
The University of Nebraska Public Media is seeking a part‑time Customer Service Receptionist who will answer incoming calls, route calls, and respond to general inquiries. The role also involves processing check and credit card transactions for the membership department, sales transactions, and web transactions, as well as providing additional support duties as assigned.
Work Schedule- Monday: rotating between AM and PM shifts
- Wednesday/Friday: 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm
- Tuesday/Thursday: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

MinimumRequired Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent and one (1) year of office support experience.
- Additional years of relevant experience or completed relevant education may substitute for required education/experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Experience working in an environment with considerable interaction with public/customers.
- Working knowledge of general office practices.
- Skill utilizing word processing and data entry software.
- Excellent proof‑reading skills, good attention to detail, and demonstrated effective communication skills.
- Ability to interact with a variety of individuals.
- Associate’s degree in business, office technology, office administration or related field.
- Familiarity with accounting practices as they relate to data entry.
- Criminal History Background Check Required.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. Subject to DOT approved pre‑employment & random testing for alcohol and controlled substances.
Salary commensurate with experience.
