Role Description The Administrative Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Kearney, NE. This role is responsible for supporting daily office operations, including managing phone calls, greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, and maintaining calendars. The Administrative Assistant will handle clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, preparing documents, and organizing records. The role may include assisting executive leadership with administrative tasks, coordinating meetings and events, and helping with correspondence and communications.
The position requires consistent, reliable presence in the office and collaboration with staff to ensure smooth, efficient administrative support for the foundation’s activities.
Qualifications
- Strong administrative assistance and executive administrative assistance skills, with the ability to support daily office and leadership needs.
- Professional phone etiquette and communication skills, including clear, courteous interaction with donors, partners, and visitors.
- Solid clerical skills, including data entry, filing, document preparation, and record organization.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, calendars) and basic database or CRM tools.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Dependable, respectful, and collaborative work style, with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or experience in office administration or nonprofit settings is beneficial.
