Estimator, Construction

Overview

We are looking for new team members for our Preconstruction Team, including Estimators, Dr. Estimator, and Preconstruction Manager, to support construction projects by preparing full estimates for large and complex work.

• Follows department protocol regarding confidentiality of data and information.
• Knowledge of disciplines, estimating techniques and cost control.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively in a positive or negative situation.
• Computer skills – Timberline, Expedition, Excel, ICE, Pay Dirt, Digitizer, On Screen Take‑off, Microsoft Outlook and Word.
• Accuracy and thoroughness – monitors work to ensure quality.
• Dependable – consistently at work and on time, follows instructions.
• Manages multiple activities at same time and maintains priorities.

• Construction Management degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience.
• LEED AP preferred.

• 3–5 years’ experience with projects of 5 million dollars and larger.
