Drop Zone is coming to Kearney, NE, and we are hiring a Guest Service Associate to create a fun, smooth, and welcoming experience for every guest. This role serves as the first impression of the venue and supports guests with check-in, reservations, gameplay assistance, and general questions.
ABOUT GUEST SERVICE ASSOCIATE ROLEAs a Guest Service Associate at Drop Zone, you will be the first impression for every guest who walks through the door. This role focuses on creating a fun, smooth, and welcoming experience by supporting check-ins, reservations, gameplay assistance, and answering guest questions throughout their visit.
Core Responsibilities GUEST CHECK-IN & SUPPORTWelcome and assist guests with check-in, reservations, and general venue questions while creating a positive first impression.
GAMEPLAY GUIDANCEProvide basic game demonstrations and help guests understand how to play to ensure an enjoyable and smooth experience.
EQUIPMENT ASSISTANCEAssist guests with golf clubs and equipment to help them get started safely and efficiently.
VENUE SAFETY & OVERSIGHTEnforce safety guidelines and maintain a safe playing environment throughout all gameplay zones.
CLEANLINESS & ORGANIZATIONMaintain cleanliness and organization throughout the venue, including guest service areas, bays, pickleball courts, and the putting course.
RETAIL & GUEST INQUIRIESPromote and sell retail items when applicable, keep displays stocked and presentable, and respond quickly and professionally to guest inquiries and requests.
Candidate RequirementsWhat We're Looking For:
CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS
Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential. Candidates should enjoy interacting with guests and providing friendly, helpful support throughout their visit.
TEAMWORK & WORK STYLEAbility to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment while staying positive, professional, and guest-focused at all times.
TECHNICAL & COMPUTER SKILLSBasic computer skills are required to support reservations, guest check-in, and general system use during daily operations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSPhysical ability to lift and move golf bags, clubs, and equipment as needed while remaining active throughout the shift.
EXPERIENCE & COMPENSATIONHospitality, retail, or entertainment experience is a plus but not required. This is a part-time, in-person role with starting pay from $15.00 per hour
