Summary
The Store Design Intern provides Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) work and Design Administration Duties for the Store Design Team. The teammate in this role is responsible for the production of drawings depicting store layouts, details, and elevations, as well as the distribution of design drawings to internal Buckle teams and outside vendors.

Drafting and Technical Skills
* Demonstrate knowledge of computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software, including AutoCAD, Sketch Up Pro, and Revit.
* Utilize building construction knowledge or experience with the ability to read construction drawings and documents.
Project Documentation and Drawing Management
* Assist in maintaining electronic project files.
* Provide project-drawing distribution to vendors, outside consultants, and others as directed.
* Prepare base drawings for the Design team, Construction Team, Marketing Department, and others as directed.
Communication and Time Management
* Communicate regularly with members of the Buckle store design team.
* Present completed assignments within allotted time frames.
General
* Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
* Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
Candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Architecture or related field from a four-year college or university or a two-year community college; or have a minimum of two years related experience working with a registered architect or engineer; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the Teammate regularly works in an office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
