Job Summary and Responsibilities

CHI Health Good Samaritan, a member of Common Spirit Health™, is seeking a BC/BE General Anesthesiologist to join our team in Kearney, NE. This 200‑bed Level II Trauma center with internal flight and EMS services provides comprehensive care to Central Nebraska and serves as a regional referral center. It has a 24‑bed open ICU and a 24/7 hospitalist service.

• 5‑member MDAs anesthesia team
• Supported by a private CRNA group with autonomy
• 200‑bed facility, 24‑bed open ICU
• Case mix:
  General, Orthopedic, OBGYN, Urology, ENT, Neuro, Cardio/Thoracic (optional)
• Low turnover group with a family‑like environment
• New position due to growth
• Hospital Medicine and Intensivist programs
• Multiple subspecialty physicians
• EPIC EMR in clinic and hospital
• Academic affiliation with Creighton University School of Medicine

• Established anesthesia team of 5 MDAs with private CRNA group autonomy
