Otolaryngology Physician

Shortage of ENT Physicians to staff our Level II Trauma Center. Coverage will be over weekends.

Schedule/Availability Requirements 2026 dates:

• Setting:
  Level II Trauma Center bed hospital
• Duties:
  Cover ENT call coverage and come in when requested by our trauma/ED Physicians
• FTE: .33
• Required Procedures:
  Adenoidectomy, Audiogram, lump/tumor removal, tonsillectomy
• EMR: EPIC
• Support Staff:
  Anesthesia, CRNA, Surgery Dept.
• Reason for Coverage:
  We are losing one of our ENT Providers and will only have 2 left in the group to take call. We are required to have 24/7 ENT coverage to maintain our Level II Trauma center status.
• Deal breakers:
  Must be board certified

Credentialing Information:

• Timeframe: 30 - 90 days, depending on candidates
• Requirements:
  Board certification/M.D. or D.O.
• Credentialing with other facilities? No
• Billing enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less? No- the ENT Physicians are not employed

• First day info I will send an orientation schedule once we know the Locum Physician's level of experience with EPIC and I know their travel plans.

• Board Certified - REQUIRED
• Must have a NE license or be able to get one within a few months. Compact license is fine! - REQUIRED
• DEA - REQUIRED
• CLEAN Malpractice - REQUIRED
• Availability at time of name clear - REQUIRED
• Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation. The Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date.
