A key part of this work includes oversight of the Regional Engagement Center and University Village, a mixed‑use district adjacent to campus designed to connect students, residents, businesses, and community partners.

Role Description

The Engagement & Operations Coordinator supports event operations, engagement efforts, and select marketing activities for the Regional Engagement Center and University Village. This role serves as the primary point of contact for groups utilizing these facilities, coordinating logistics, on‑site support, and communication to ensure high‑quality experiences. The position works closely with campus partners, community organizations, vendors, and leadership to support events, programming, and initiatives that align with UNK’s mission and engagement goals.

Qualifications
  • Experience coordinating events, programs, or operational activities involving multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage administrative and financial processes such as invoicing or basic budget tracking
  • Working knowledge of marketing or promotional practices related to events or programs
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and student employees
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as required for events
