EMPLOYMENT TERMS AND SALARY:
Salary and benefits will be in alignment with the certified staff salary schedule or comparable benefits determined by the superintendent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Four-year college diploma or university degree in the field of education, with experience working with school information systems.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Excellent problem-solving, listening, and interpersonal skills.
* Possesses a valid Nebraska Driver's license and has means of transportation.
* Teaching certificate preferred but not required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The Curriculum Systems Specialist role is to develop, deliver, and support the use of SIS, Canvas, AI, and Curriculum Systems to enhance the quality of instruction, improve student engagement, and facilitate effective learning experiences. Serves as a trainer, consultant, and resource for KPS.
* Coordinate with the department and district to assess training needs to support the implementation of various curricular and educational platforms.
* Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the platforms and technologies that are critical to the implementation of curriculum, instruction, and assessment throughout the district.
* Provide one-on-one and group training on using various educational technologies, such as learning management systems (LMS), SIS, and Curriculum Systems.
* Develop and deliver workshops, seminars, and professional development sessions.
* Be responsive to the needs of district leaders in supporting their needs.
* Share research with staff via workshops, presentations, meetings, writings, brochures, websites, blogs, etc.
* Identify gaps in professional development opportunities and develop solutions to fill them.
* Create and communicate training schedules in consultation with district decision makers.
* Present instructor-led training sessions
* Develop and deploy training feedback mechanisms.
* Create and maintain training materials, including self-help documents, tutorials, and videos.
* Performs other duties as requested by District Directors.
