Guardian Angels Central Catholic School is seeking qualified applicants for a 5th Grade self‑contained elementary classroom teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will foster student growth and success in academic, social‑emotional, and spiritual development while creating a positive, faith-filled learning environment.

The teacher will work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff to support the mission of the school and promote a culture of respect, faith, and academic excellence.

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage the responsibilities of a self‑contained classroom
• Knowledge of and commitment to supporting the Catholic mission and values of the school (Catholic faith preferred)

• Experience with Science of Reading Instruction
• Experience implementing small‑group instruction and effective instructional routines

• Demonstrates a commitment to continuous professional growth and improvement
• Maintains a positive and collaborative attitude with colleagues
• Builds strong relationships with students, families, and staff
• Supports colleagues both inside and outside the classroom
• Represents the school and its mission positively within the greater community

• Elementary Education K–6 certification in Nebraska
• Safe Environment Certification through the Archdiocese of Omaha

• Certified base salary: $37,966
• Offer all years of experience
