Position SummaryThe Admissions and Student Affairs Associate provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and programmatic support to the College of Medicine Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) Office, handling 70% student affairs and 30% admissions duties. The associate coordinates with the Omaha Office of Admissions and Student Affairs staff, supporting student services, compliance, onboarding, progression, data management, recruitment, and applicant support while ensuring alignment with institutional and national standards.
The role serves as a frontline resource for applicants, students, faculty, staff, and external partners, working closely with staff and leadership across both Omaha and Kearney campuses.

Salary Range$19,904 - $29,856 hourly
Key Responsibilities- Provide student affairs support to the UME Office, handling student services, compliance, onboarding, and progression tasks.
- Manage admissions duties, coordinating applicant support, recruitment, and data management.
- Act as a frontline resource for applicants, students, faculty, staff, and external partners.
- Collaborate with the Omaha Office of Admissions and Student Affairs staff and campus leadership across Omaha and Kearney.
- Maintain alignment with institutional and national standards in all student affairs and admissions activities.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in any field.
- Minimum 3 years of increasingly responsible administrative support and/or educator experience (or five years education/related experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- No required license.
- Experience in higher education student affairs or admissions roles, preferably with medical students or other health profession programs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint, SAP, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience with AMCAS/WebAdMIT, CRM platforms, data systems, and People Soft.
