Business Systems Analyst
The Business Systems Analyst serves as a key liaison between University Financial Accounting, Payroll, Human Resources and campus business units to support financial systems, reporting, and automation initiatives. This position focuses on improving financial processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, and implementing solutions that support the university’s financial operations and compliance requirements.
The analyst partners with leadership and functional users to analyze business needs, design automated solutions, and ensure the integrity and usability of financial data across enterprise systems. This role supports the continuous improvement of financial reporting, operational efficiency, and system functionality in a complex higher education environment.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years’ experience working with financial systems, ERP platforms, or financial reporting tools.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes and translate requirements into system solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in higher education finance or a public-sector financial environment.
- Experience with enterprise financial systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, Oracle, People Soft).
- Familiarity with financial reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
- Experience with process automation, workflow tools, or data integration.
- Knowledge of financial compliance, audit support, or institutional reporting requirements.
