• Assignment Type: Travel RN contract
• Start Date: January 20, 2026
• End Date: April 21, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13-week contract
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (18:00–06:30), every other weekend required; up to 2 mandatory overtime shifts per 6 weeks
• Unit Size: 10 beds (average daily census: 5+)
• Charting System: EPIC electronic health records

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience, including cardiac care
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (required for all; pediatric experience highly preferred), and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with advanced ICU equipment: IABP, Impella, CRRT, and Day 2/Day 3 post-op CABGs
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Ability to float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Medical Surgical (Med Surg) units as needed
• Strong teamwork, clinical support, and communication skills

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric ICU patients, including cardiac and post-surgical cases
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Operate advanced ICU equipment such as IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to PCU and Med Surg units as needed based on census
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Comply with unit policies, including punctuality and attendance standards
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
