Job Summary & Responsibilities
Sign on bonus: $5,000
Educational Assistance (loan forgiveness): $10,000
- Conducts therapy sessions with patients by providing individual, group, family and/or significant other counseling and education to assist these individuals in achieving defined treatment goals
- Refers and collaborates with the care team, other agencies, and significant others having a joint interest in meeting the needs of the patient
- Responds to crisis situations and provides crisis intervention to patients in the assigned program
- Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work
- Must have an active license in the state of practice – PLMHP, LMHP, LIMHP, PCMSW, CMSW, or CSW
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
Established by the Sisters of the St. Francis in 1924, CHI Health Good Samaritan is a 268‑bed regional referral center in Kearney, Neb. At CHI Health Good Samaritan, you’ll find an advanced level trauma center that also offers Air Care emergency helicopter transport and an ambulance program providing long-distance and local 911 service. Among our many other services are cardiac care including open‑heart surgery, a level II neonatal intensive care unit, a nationally accredited cancer center, comprehensive neurosurgery, an advanced orthopedic program, and inpatient and outpatient mental health services at our free‑standing Richard Young Behavioral Health facility.
