Position Summary

Position is in the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center’s (FPBCC) Community and Engagement Office (COE). This position will be located in Kearney, NE and support planning, implementation, and evaluation of all strategic aims of the COE office for Central Nebraska. The role involves building strong relationships with community members, organizations, and health systems to advance these initiatives. Assist with coordinating community events to expand outreach and screening efforts and to increase cancer education.

Salary

$53,800 – $80,700 per year (Salary Grade EO24S).

Required Qualifications
  • Public health-related field education (Bachelor's degree or higher).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in project/program management.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Community engagement and partnership building experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience developing partnerships with academic, clinical, and community organizations to deliver culturally appropriate, evidence-based cancer information and education to diverse communities (e.g., African American, American Indian, Latino/Hispanic, Rural).
