Job Description:

The RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will provide care for adult patients with various medical conditions, including cardiac, med/surg, and post-procedural recovery. They will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care needs.
Responsibilities:
Provide care for patients with cardiac med/surg, dialysis, cancer, vascular, sepsis, and respiratory conditions.
Monitor and titrate drips such as Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin.
Read and interpret telemetry strips.
Float to Med Surg or ICU as needed to take PCU acuity patients.
Adhere to artificial nails' prohibition policy in patient care areas.
Requirements:
Valid RN license.

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
Competency in managing arterial lines.
Driver's license required for compliance verification.
