Job Description:

The RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will provide care for adult patients with various medical conditions, including cardiac, med/surg, and post-procedural recovery. They will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients with cardiac med/surg, dialysis, cancer, vascular, sepsis, and respiratory conditions.
• Monitor and titrate drips such as Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips.
• Float to Med Surg or ICU as needed to take PCU acuity patients.
• Adhere to artificial nails' prohibition policy in patient care areas.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Competency in managing arterial lines.
• Driver's license required for compliance verification.
