Valley County Health System is currently seeking a qualified candidate to work a Paramedicine / Nursing shift in Acute Care! This position is full-time, working 36 hours per week on the night shift. Qualified candidates must have 5 years of Paramedic experience.
Responsibilities- Perform patient care in an efficient and effective manner.
- Collaborate with Medical Staff, management, and other healthcare providers to coordinate medical management of patient care.
- Provide emergency and inpatient treatment as needed.
- Demonstrate efficient time management and accurate documentation.
- Promote and ensure patient and staff safety in all aspects of responsibilities.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Paramedicine.
- Currently licensed in the State of Nebraska.
- Hold BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC certification is required and can also be provided on-site.
- Ability to multitask.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
- Experience documenting in an EMR is preferred but not required.
