Echo Technologist in Kearney, NE

An opportunity is available for a skilled professional with expertise in cardiac and vascular imaging. This contract assignment spans 13 weeks and is ideal for individuals proficient in both Echo Tech and Vascular Tech/Sonography duties. This position requires adaptability, technical competence, and a commitment to high-quality patient care within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Schedule/

Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 4x10 hour day shifts
• Rotating call coverage: one weekend every 4th or 5th week

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound imaging procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to interpret and report findings
• Ensure imaging and documentation meet industry and facility standards
• Maintain equipment and assist in its calibration as necessary
• Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout imaging procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation, supporting both cardiac and vascular imaging needs

Qualifications:

• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification required
• Experience as an Echo Tech and/or Vascular Tech/Sonographer
• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, anatomical identification, and screening procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage workflow during both regular hours and on-call shifts
