Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office Jail Mental Health Clinician Contract Position – Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office is seeking proposals from an experienced LMHP or higher, or PLMHP with desired experience and supervision to serve as a contracted therapist at the Buffalo County Jail providing mental Health Services & identifying substance misuse. This contracted role will provide no more than 24 hours a week assisting with a team-based approach between Jail Medical, Jail Security, and Jail Admin.

A second, and vital piece for the contract position is collaboration between law enforcement, CoResponder Unit, County Attorney’s Office and Region 3 representatives while working with individuals experiencing behavioral health crisis.
