Project Manager, Operations Management, Program ​/ Project Manager

About the Role

The Project Manager is responsible for effective management of assigned projects and marketing the company’s services to obtain new projects. This includes building effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and staff and ensuring the effectiveness, quality, compliance, and profitability of each project. The Project Manager reports directly to the Division Manager.

• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and engineers, promote services, and actively seek new opportunities.
• Maximize project profitability and manage cash flow while leading preplanning to ensure success.
• Write quotations and proposals, administer contracts, negotiate, and award subcontracts.
• Schedule manpower, equipment, and materials; hire staff; attend site meetings.
• Track project progress, take corrective action, and control costs.
• Ensure quality workmanship, enforce safety policy, and provide training.
• Document projects: shop drawings, billing, change orders, forecasting, and close-out.

• Electrical systems knowledge and construction experience.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects within budget and timeline.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, active learning, writing, speaking, troubleshooting, and multitasking skills.
• Proficient computer skills in email, database, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and accounting software.
• Understanding of mathematics, reading comprehension, and time management.

• Basic manual dexterity and light physical activity (lifting up to 25 lbs).
• Ability to speak, listen, read, and write clearly.
• Work may require extended close vision and administrative tasks.
