Production Laborer
Location: Kearney, NE
Pay: Starting at $19.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Description:
We are hiring a Production Laborer for a busy facility in Kearney! This is a hands-on, physically active role working with injection molding machines and sheet metal. Candidates should be mechanically inclined and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and assist with injection molding machines
- Bend and move sheet metal materials
- Lift and move materials up to 40-50 pounds
- Perform general production and labor duties as needed
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn
- Ability to handle physical, labor-intensive work
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Opportunity to move into other positions after approximately 6 weeks
- Potential for pay increases based on performance
- Steel-toed boots required
- Jeans
- Non-flammable shirt (no synthetic fabrics)
