Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a Labor & Delivery (L&D) RN for an immediate travel nursing assignment in Kearney, Nebraska. The assignment is 13 weeks long, with 12‑hour night shifts and 36 hours per week. This is a travel nursing position.

Pay package: based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week; tax‑free stipend to be determined.

• Assist physicians with epidural and pain medication administration, episiotomies, and cesarean deliveries.
• Provide care and support for patients before, during, and after delivery.
• Monitor labor progress, contractions, and cervical dilation.
• Guide patients with breathing techniques and other comfort measures.
• Maintain cleanliness of beds and environment, managing bodily fluids.
• Assist with delivery instruments, drapes, gloves, gowns, and newborn immediate care.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent acute‑care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications; additional certifications may be required before assignment start.
• Capability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods and to lift at least 20 pounds (up to 50 pounds when necessary).
• Strong stress‑management skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
