• Respiratory distress

• Certifications Required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
• Drip Titration Required: YES
  • Cardiac drips
  • Insulin
  • Sedation
• Respiratory Equipment:
  • Nasal cannula → Vent
  • CPAP
  • BiPAP
  • High Flow
    (RNs expected to manage/troubleshoot)
• Tele Monitoring:
  • RNs must read, interpret & document strips
  • Monitor Brand: GE
  • Tele tech oversight available

• Nurse Aides (based on census)
  • 1:1 sitting
  • Floor assistance as needed
• Healthcare Support Tech
  • 3 days/week (M–F, 0800–1630)

• Shifts:
  • Days: 0630–1830
  • Nights: 1830–0630
• Self-scheduling available for core staff
  • Travelers added in
  • Block scheduling NOT guaranteed
• Floating:
  • Typically to PCU
  • Occasionally Med Surg
  • Ratios: 1:4 or 1:5
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Minimum 2 holidays during contract
