Are you an experienced ICU nurse with a passion for cardiac care? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where teamwork and patient care are paramount? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our healthcare partner in Kearney, NE. This travel position offers the chance to work in a 10-bed ICU unit, providing care to a diverse patient population, including post-op cardiac surgery patients and those with complex medical needs.

As a valued member of the ICU team, you will:

• Provide high-quality care to patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, sepsis, and more
• Utilize advanced skills in IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• Work collaboratively in a unit known for its great teamwork
• Float to PCU and Med Surg as needed, ensuring comprehensive patient care
• Adhere to a flexible schedule, including weekends and potential extra shifts

Requirements for this role include:

• Minimum of 2 years' ICU experience, including cardiac experience
• Experience with Day 2/Day 3 post-op CABGs
• Active NE or compact license in good standing
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Willingness to float to PCU and Med Surg
• COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
