Job SummaryFusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Kearney, Nebraska. You will contribute to high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on continuous cardiac monitoring and assessment.
Required Qualifications- One year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN
- Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification
- NIHSS certification
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other telemetry data; respond to abnormalities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care
- Prepare equipment and assist physician during cardiac-related procedures
- Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients
- Record patient conditions and notify supervisor or physician of status and response
- Respond to life-saving situations per cardiac policies and procedures
- Document nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients
- Initiate patient education focused on cardiac health and risk factors
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain patient and client confidentiality
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Perform other duties within the scope of practice
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication
- English language proficiency
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions; PC proficiency
- Physical abilities: ability to remain stationary, move equipment, push/pull, and bend
- Interpersonal skills to collaborate with a variety of personnel
- Technical/motor skills to assist with procedures and operate equipment
- Mental requirements: ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage variable schedules
