Salary Range: $32.00–$48.00 per hour, with $5,000 sign‑on bonus available.
The Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with residents, families and inter‑disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and uses age‑appropriate standards in their assigned setting. Provides care across prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis and treatment, coordinating assessment, education and other interventions.
May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel as appropriate, ensuring safe, reliable care. Functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice outlined in the Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Rules, and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA) or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Currently possess an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice and, if applicable, multistate licensure under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Obtain and maintain department‑specific competencies and certifications.
