Job Details- Position: Registered Nurse - ICU
- Location: Kearney
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Day Shift
- Schedule: 3x12
- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Weekly Pay: $2100 to $2300
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and high-acuity patients in the Intensive Care Unit
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuously monitor patient conditions
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and advanced life support treatments
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic data, and vital signs
- Operate and manage critical care equipment, including ventilators, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient status
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and recovery expectations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
- Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care guidelines
- Active RN License in Nebraska
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification required
- NIHSS Certification preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
- Experience managing ventilated and critically ill patients
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and hemodynamic assessment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered critical care
