Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN)
Position overview:
The Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care to residents. The RN collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, provide resident education, and perform various nursing interventions.
- May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and the delegate’s competence level.
- Provide assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns.
- Functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and state administrative rules.
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA).
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs or possesses multistate licensure under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Obtain and maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
- Work shift:
12 Hours – Day Shifts (United States of America). - Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
- Compensation:
Salary range $35.00–$48.00 per hour; $10,000 sign‑on bonus available. - Union position:
No. - Shift: 6am – 6pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

- Paid time off accrued every two weeks.
