BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Competent in Arterial Lines

Licensure: License to Submit:
Yes

Skills Required: Must be able to titrate drips and read/interpret tele monitor strips; High flow RT equipment troubleshooting required

Shifts & Scheduling: 12-hour shifts; Day ) and Night ) shifts available

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend

Holiday Requirements: Minimum of 2 holidays if contract falls within that period

Floating Requirements: May float to Med Surg or ICU with PCU acuity patients

Education Requirement: BSN is not required

Additional Expectations: Must pass a 90% open book exam on skills during orientation; focus on patient experience scores, responsiveness, hospital environment, and communication about medications; looking for someone flexible, willing to learn, and can take feedback; team player with good communication skills
