Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position available in an acute care setting. This role involves providing specialized care to adult patients with conditions such as trauma, cardiac issues, overdose/substance abuse, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, and respiratory distress. The ICU has 33 beds with an average daily census of 16, requiring RNs to manage complex patient needs and critical interventions.

Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. - Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as an RN, active ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. Current licensure to practice as a registered nurse, with the ability to submit licensing documentation. - Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with GE monitoring systems, knowledge of ventilator troubleshooting, and familiarity with trauma or stroke patient care. - Float:
Float rotation may be required to PCU or Medical-Surgical units, typically accommodating patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5. - Additional Information:
Candidates must have a valid drivers license, and artificial nails are prohibited for patient care staff. RN candidates will be required to pass an open-book skills exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90%. On-call shifts may require rapid response within 30 minutes. Orientation consists of one unit-specific shift prior to start. RTO requests of seven days or less are permitted upfront;
additional requests will not be approved. The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment.
