Account Manager SMB- Business Sales

Responsibilities

With your sales experience, ability to efficiently manage your time, excellent customer relations skills, and excitement for technology, you will deliver outstanding and innovative business solutions that support our technology evolution and the way businesses connect. Whether you are hunting new business or growing existing accounts, you will consult with customers to identify their challenges and recommend tailored solutions that deliver powerful returns for customers, improve their business, and grow our revenue.

• Develop and qualify leads within your territory through cold calling, partner‑selling, lead‑generation campaigns, and modern social‑selling techniques.
• Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
• Retain, manage, and grow the existing customer base.
• Educate and excite customers while leveraging innovative solutions.
• Build relationships with key decision makers.
• Present and create multi‑product solution opportunities.
• Understand and sell integrated software solutions including cloud, security, ISP, VoIP, and Google platforms.
• Track and report progress through sales‑force automation tools.
• Drive sales, increase service revenue, and manage relationships for accounts in the 1‑19 employee segment.

Base pay plus a target commission. Unlimited earning potential allows top earners to exceed compensation plans and compete for sales incentives. Compensation varies by geography, performance, and experience.

• Bachelor’s degree or three or more years of work experience.
• Three or more years of relevant sales experience.
• Willingness to work in a mobile model with travel up to 50% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or related certifications.
• At least two years of B2B or outside sales experience, including acquisition and prospecting.
• Experience in technology sales, SaaS, CRM, Salesforce, social media, or similar tools.
• Strong presentation skills in face‑to‑face and virtual settings.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all levels of client organizations.
• Capacity to work in a fast‑paced, self‑directed, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong time‑management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to implement feedback and adapt approach for success.

Support the Kearney, Nebraska, territory and surrounding areas. Mobile role; primarily work from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for training and meetings.

40 hours per week.
