Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Position Summary
With minimum supervision, performs maintenance functions on equipment, machinery, and buildings. Constructs machine components and performs plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
Responsibilities- Without supervision is capable of completing all maintenance functions as required to building, machinery, mechanical equipment, and physical structure.
- Conducts diagnostic and troubleshooting inspections of equipment, making adjustments, repairs as necessary.
- Constructs machine components as required.
- Performs electrical and electronic work including the design and installation of electrical circuits and controls.
- Constructs and repairs structures and fixtures from wood, plywood, and wallboard following written or verbal instructions.
- Troubleshoots, repairs and services hydraulic systems, including changing valves and other similar adjustments.
- Troubleshoot/Repair/Replace/Install Servo Control.
- Troubleshoot PLC controls using laptop.
- Trains and develops other maintenance department personnel.
- Completes paperwork as required, including job cards, inspection reports, logs, etc.
- May be called upon to work late evening, early morning, or other unscheduled hours to perform necessary emergency repairs.
Required: High school education with four or more years' experience in industrial maintenance.
Preferred: Associate's degree in industrial technology with emphasis in industrial maintenance and four or more years' experience in industrial maintenance.
Compensation- Hourly pay range starts at $30.50.
