Family Preservation Supervisor – Nebraska Family Preservation
The Family Preservation Supervisor oversees Family Preservation staff within an assigned region, ensuring quality services that promote child safety, family stability, and well-being. This role provides clinical and administrative supervision, supports staff development, ensures contract and policy compliance, coordinates services with community partners, and serves as a liaison with courts and other agencies.
Key responsibilities include supervising and supporting Family Preservation Case Managers and Family Support Workers, providing coaching, training, and trauma-informed supervision to staff, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant case documentation and service delivery, coordinating with courts, community partners, and public/private agencies to meet family needs, monitoring referrals, assigning cases, and overseeing contract compliance, facilitating team meetings, staff development, and program planning activities, providing crisis intervention and on-call support as needed, compiling reports, maintaining data systems, and ensuring accurate program reporting, and promoting cultural responsiveness, teamwork, and positive outcomes for children and families.
Qualifications include a Master's degree in Social Work or a related human services field preferred;
Bachelor's degree in a human services field required, current Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board licensure (LBSW, LMLP, LMFT, LPC, LCP, or equivalent) required, supervisory experience in child welfare, family services, or a related field preferred, strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and a valid driver's license and ability to meet agency driving requirements.
