About Thea Energy:

Thea Energy is leveraging recent breakthroughs in stellarator physics and engineering to create a faster and simpler approach to commercializing fusion energy. The company is reinventing the stellarator using computer‑controlled arrays of planar coils thereby replacing the intricate, complex modular magnets required in all other stellarator architectures. Thea Energy is on a mission to create a limitless source of zero emission energy for a sustainable future.

Position Overview:

Thea Energy is seeking an ambitious and resourceful executive assistant to join our team and help us build the future of fusion energy. You will serve as a force multiplier for the executive team and report directly to Thea Energy’s CEO. As an executive assistant, you will provide critical support across a variety of operational tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in the fast‑paced environment of a rapidly scaling company.

Thea Energy’s dynamic team is made up of self‑motivated individuals with an excitement for solving complex problems.

Key Responsibility Areas:
Calendar
  • Manage and maintain calendars, including scheduling meetings and trips.
  • Collaboratively ensure that use of time is aligned with real‑time priorities of the company with minimal friction.
  • Ensure team is always prepared (and never surprised by) meetings.
  • Anticipate needs, and issues before they arise.
Communication
  • Serve as a point of contact between the executive team and various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and triage inbound communications.
  • Draft, proofread, and edit documents, reports, communications, and other materials.
Coordination
  • Track action items and follow‑ups, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Arrange trips, events, team meetings, and off‑site activities as required.
Other special projects as required Ideal Experience & Skillsets:
  • 5+ years of work experience as an executive assistant.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly structured and process‑driven, with a speed and execution mindset.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Startup experience strongly preferred; comfort with ambiguity, and an ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proactive, self‑directed, and solutions‑oriented.
  • Tech‑savvy: fluent in Microsoft Office, Google workspace, Slack, Asana, and similar tools; quick to learn new software.
  • High integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Bachelor’s degree or greater.
Company Benefits:
  • Salary range $85,000-$135,000
