Superintendent - North Jersey Construction

Company is seeking a Superintendent to oversee commercial interior and tenant fit-out projects throughout the Kearny, NJ area. This individual will play a key role in managing daily field operations, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring project schedules are maintained, and delivering high-quality projects safely and efficiently. Client Details Company is a well-established Philadelphia-based General Contractor/Construction Management firm with a strong reputation for delivering commercial construction projects throughout the greater Philadelphia region.

As they continue to expand their presence into Northern New Jersey, they have secured a growing pipeline of commercial interior and tenant improvement work, including an active portfolio in the Kearny market. Description Site Supervision:
Manage day-to-day field operations for commercial interiors and tenant fit-out projects. Team Leadership:
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules and quality standards. Safety Compliance:
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies. Schedule Management:
Review construction documents, project schedules, and scopes of work to identify and resolve field issues proactively. Quality Control:
Perform quality control inspections to ensure work meets project specifications. Documentation:
Maintain detailed daily reports, site logs, and project documentation. Profile Experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent with a GC firm Commercial interiors, renovation, tenant fit-out, or tenant improvement experience is highly preferred. Candidates who have progressed through the trades into field leadership roles are strongly encouraged to apply. Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor management. Ability to communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.

Knowledge of jobsite safety practices and OSHA standards. Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
