About the RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing medical device company seeking a Customer Service & Order Management Coordinator to join its team in Kearny, New Jersey.
This is a varied position combining customer service, order management, account support and office coordination. You will play a key role in ensuring customers receive a professional, responsive service while helping orders move smoothly from receipt through to delivery.
The role would suit someone who enjoys speaking with customers, solving problems, coordinating multiple tasks and taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
What You'll Be DoingAs a key member of the customer service team, you will act as a primary point of contact for customers, supporting them with enquiries, orders and account-related questions.
You will work closely with colleagues across sales, finance and operations to ensure customers receive excellent service and orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email in a professional and timely manner
- Process customer orders accurately and ensure they are released correctly for fulfilment
- Monitor order status and provide customers with updates where required
- Handle returns, exchanges and account-related queries
- Investigate and resolve customer issues, escalating where appropriate
- Liaise with sales, finance and operational teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Maintain accurate customer, order and account records
- Support shipping coordination and related administration activities
- Assist with general office administration and customer service reporting
- Deliver a positive customer experience while building strong customer relationships
- Previous experience in customer service, order processing, sales support, customer support or office coordination
- Comfortable handling customer enquiries by phone and email
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentA proactive approach to problem solving and customer support
- Experience with in healthcare, medical devices, manufacturing, distribution, logistics or a similar environment would be advantageous but is not essential
