Extended School Year Programs

REPORTS TO:

Director of Special Services or Designee

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Applicants must possess a Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities certificate.

* Preference will be given to teachers with ABA/Preschool experience and those with self-contained teaching experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

* Preparation for the launch of the ESY Program

* Oversight of the entire ESY program

* Planning for program prior to start date

* Coordination of bus transportation and schedules

* Hiring of school aides and submission of paperwork

* Ordering of materials and supplies

* Creating themes and activities to engage students

* Assigning of teachers and aides to groups

* Communication with parents

* Recordkeeping using Genesis and G Suite

* Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by Director

HOURS:

Program starts June 29, 2026 through July 30, 2026

Set Up Date June 25, 2026

REMUNERATION:

The salary will be in accordance with the applicable KEA contract.
