REPORTS TO:

Adult School Director

DESCRIPTION:

* Assists in recruitment and placement of ESL/ELL teachers for the program

* Implements curriculum guidelines for each class level

* Creates and oversees the placement test materials and process

* Organizes a separate method of registration for ESL/ELL students

* Assists students in moving throughout the different levels of the program

* Works with teachers to assist in planning for different class levels

* Assesses the need for new materials to be added to classes

* Additional ESL/ELL program responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Adult School

* Prior experience with the Adult School ESL/ELL program preferred

REMUNERATION:

The salary for this position is $3,000 ($1,000 per semester)
