- Creates sketches and final CAD drawings for engineering projects, collaborating with the project engineering team to ensure best practices and compliance with applicable construction and regulatory requirements.
- Creates and revise FEED drawings, including preliminary layouts, elevation, and plan views ensuring architectural conformity and site aesthetics.
- Conducts frequent field audits to check dimensions of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.
- Utilizes knowledge of process equipment, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
- Draft detailed multi-view drawings of the process (Isometrics).
- Evaluates constructability in developing layouts to aid in the project bidding, project execution, and is nimble in recommending alternatives when obstacles to execution are encountered.
- Routinely interfaces with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to execute against assembled drawing packages.
- Exhibits strong attention to detail to ensure drawings are accurate according to specifications.
- Updates drafting and engineering standards.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.
- Associate"s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Proficiency in Revit (optional).
- Strong analytical and visualization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
- Advanced 2D and 3D drafting skills, including the ability to create detailed technical drawings and complex models.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized.
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to pass a 10 panel controlled substance testing and random testing after that.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation check and maintain in good standing order, as per TSA"s TWIC criteria.
