that needs a true
Customs Entry Writer
with strong
PGA/FDA entry experience

This role is built for someone who likes high-volume brokerage work, clean documentation, accurate data entry, and getting shipments cleared quickly. The ideal candidate has handled
FDA/PGA releases
, understands “
May Proceed
” status, and can confidently manage a steady entry workload.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Process import entries accurately and on time.
- Review commercial documents and correct missing or inaccurate information before submission.
- Handle
PGA/FDA requirements
, including “
May Proceed releases. - Flag FDA exams, holds, or shipment issues quickly.
- Use client SOPs to support HTS/product code classification.
- Track release status with Customs, FDA, and other agencies.
- Resolve entry errors, holds, and documentation issues.
- Update delivery orders and send clear carrier instructions when shipments must be held.
- Correct bill of lading and file issues before handing completed files to Post-Entry.
What They’re Looking For
- 3+ years of customs entry writing or brokerage operations experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with
PGA/FDA entries and releases
. - Proven ability to handle
high-volume entry work
, ideally
100-150 entries per month
. - Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience reviewing import documents, HTS/product codes, and client SOPs.
- Solid
Excel, Outlook, and Word
skills. - Able to work independently, stay organized, and support customers in a fast-paced brokerage environment.
