Shift: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Belgrove Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe, functional, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors. This is a great opportunity to use your hands‑on skills while making a meaningful impact every day.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily maintenance and repair tasks, including painting, plumbing, basic electrical work, flooring, and general repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections and promptly address minor issues.
- Safely operate hand and power tools as well as other maintenance equipment.
- Assist with HVAC upkeep, including regular filter changes.
- Support overall facility cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience (nursing home experience preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of painting, plumbing, and general repair work.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
