Job Overview
Our client in Keene, NH, is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team!
QualificationsAssociate degree in accounting or finance and 1+ years of accounting experience, including general ledger, accounts payable, and payroll, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Non‑profit experience preferred. Solid understanding of accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Professional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Benefits- $34-36/hour depending on skills and experience
- Full‑time, direct‑hire opportunity with excellent benefits
- Possibility for hybrid schedule once trained
- Process payroll
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Reconcile accounts
- Assist with budgets and audit activities
- Make cash deposits
- Prepare reports
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure regulatory compliance
