Title:
Technical Buyer I
100% onsite in Keene, NH
Duration:
Possible extension beyond 6 months, no opportunity for conversion at this time
Interview Process:
Phone/Teams meeting with manager, then onsite interview
This is an ITAR and DOD facility. Candidates must be compliant with DOD/ITAR requirements and be a US citizen or green card holder.
Top skills/requirements- Associates preferred
- 1-2 years experience in procurement or supply chain (experience with vendor relations, issuing PO's, etc)
Corning is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Buyer to join their procurement team. The Technical Buyer will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, supporting indirect spend activities, and ensuring surety of supply. This position requires strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Document management
- Request quotes and complete purchase orders
- Payment issue resolution
- Support indirect spend
- Ensure adherence to government compliance, company policies, and industry best practices
