Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization in Keene New Hampshire area, is seeking to hire a Board Operations and Project Manager. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced board governance professional who enjoys managing projects, implementing technology solutions, and driving organizational efficiency. If you're a self-starter who thrives in an autonomous environment and enjoys working closely with executive leadership and a Board of Directors, this could be the role for you.
Qualifications- 5+ years of experience supporting Boards of Directors, executive leadership teams, or governance operations
- Strong knowledge of board governance practices, including agendas, meeting coordination, minutes, bylaws, and board communications
- Proven project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Advanced technology skills, including Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and database management systems
- Experience implementing, administering, or supporting technology platforms and training end users
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and work with minimal supervision
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
- Direct Hire opportunity
- Salary $68,000-$75,000

- Serve as the primary liaison and coordinator for Board of Directors and committee activities
- Lead the implementation, administration, and ongoing support of a board management portal and related technology tools
- Coordinate board meetings, agendas, materials, communications, and official records
- Manage special projects, monitor timelines, and ensure follow-through on key initiatives
- Train board members and staff on technology platforms and best practices
- Support organizational communication, process improvement, and technology adoption efforts
- Maintain governance documentation, databases, and confidential organizational records
- Partner with executive leadership to ensure board priorities and organizational objectives are executed effectively
