Are you looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students? Keene High School is seeking Classroom Assistants to join our team for the second half of the school year. This is a unique opportunity for those entering the education field, offering space to work at the heart of the classroom, providing the targeted support that helps middle schoolers thrive during their last years of public education.
We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable stepping outside the traditional "classroom" setting to support students in dynamic, non‑traditional environments.
- Targeted Support: Assisting teachers and students to improve academic achievement in a variety of school settings.
- Student Empowerment: Working directly with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning concepts and foundational skills.
- Foundational Success: Providing the extra boost students need to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
- Education: Associate's degree, two years of college (approx. 48 credits), or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: Working with high school aged children is preferred.
