Special Education Teacher

Wheelock Elementary School Learning Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our inclusive learning community. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be the primary advocate for your students' educational journeys.

Key responsibilities include:

• IEP Development:
  Leading the creation and implementation of Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
• Progress Monitoring:
  Documenting student outcomes and providing data-driven feedback to parents and administration.
• Collaboration:
  
  Acting as a liaison between the school, families, and state/area agencies to ensure comprehensive support.

  Maintaining a safe, optimal, and adaptive learning space that addresses specific student needs.

Qualifications:

• Certification:
  Must hold New Hampshire Teacher Certification in Special Education with Endorsement 1900.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree required;
  Master's degree and/or advanced endorsements are preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Proven ability to interact effectively and professionally with a diverse range of students, staff, and families.
• Clearance:
  Successful completion of a NH criminal background check is required.
