Keene Young Men's Christian Association (Keene YMCA) seeks an Out of School Time Coordinator to lead high-quality, mission-driven programs for school-age youth. In this on-site role, you will plan and supervise daily after school and vacation programs that promote youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Responsibilities include activity planning, staff and volunteer supervision, behavior management, family communication, and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment.

You will collaborate with schools and community partners, manage attendance and records, support budget and supplies, and uphold all licensing, safety, and YMCA standards in our supportive, community-centered setting.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise Out of School Time (OST) programs for youth in alignment with Keene YMCA's mission and standards.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and support OST staff and volunteers, ensuring adherence to safety and behavioral policies.
  • Build positive relationships with youth, families, schools, and community partners to support program participation and outcomes.
  • Monitor participant attendance, program quality, and outcomes; maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that reflects YMCA values and cultural expectations.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding schedules, behavior, and youth progress.
  • Assist with budget monitoring, supply ordering, and resource management for OST programs.
  • Support marketing and outreach efforts to promote OST programs and increase enrollment.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, childcare regulations, and YMCA policies and procedures.
