Trinity Christian School is located in beautiful Keene, New Hampshire, and serves students in Preschool through Grade 8. Our mission is to provide students with an academically excellent, Christ-centered education and to share the gospel message of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

At Trinity Christian School, first grade is a year of discovery; it is a time when students begin to build lasting habits of faith and learning. We are looking for a full-time First Grade Teacher who is energized by young learners, understands the importance of both structure and grace, and wants to be part of a growing team that takes both faith and academics seriously.

Our first grade teacher leads a self-contained classroom in a small-school environment where teachers are able to know their students well and work closely with families. The classroom is supported by a morning classroom aide, and teachers work collaboratively with colleagues across grade levels to support student growth and maintain consistency throughout the school.

Compensation package includes a salary based on experience, and retirement, family insurance plan with vision and dental.

• Current teaching certification is required.
• Previous classroom teaching experience in Kindergarten, First Grade, or Second Grade is strongly preferred; prior First Grade experience is especially desirable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of systematic, explicit phonics instruction and Science of Reading practices

• Ability to plan and deliver developmentally appropriate instruction across the elementary curriculum, including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies.
• Ability to use assessment data to monitor student progress, identify learning needs, and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to establish clear, consistent routines and expectations for young learners.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with students, families, colleagues, and school leadership.
• Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute positively to a close-knit school community.
• Ability to integrate a Christian worldview throughout instruction and classroom life and to support the mission and values of Trinity Christian School.
• Commitment to the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of each student.
