Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Salary: Starting at $50,000+, commensurate with experience

Ashuelot Valley Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher / Academic Case Manager to support students through individualized instruction, academic planning, and case management. For the right candidate, a hybrid work arrangement may be available

Ashuelot Valley Academy (AVA), part of Mount Prospect Academy, serves students in grades 5–12 who thrive in a non-traditional academic setting. We provide competency-based instruction and therapeutic support to help students succeed academically and socially.

• Teach and manage academic programs for students with IEPs
• Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with IEP goals
• Use project-based learning and innovative strategies
• Assess student progress and provide quarterly updates
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Supervise teaching assistants and support curriculum development

• Required:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree and Special Education New Hampshire Teaching License (or enrolled in certification program)
• Preferred:
  Experience teaching middle/high school students and working with emotional or behavioral challenges
